How to Make a Soap in Photoshop

Everyday you know this. Everyday you all use it. Yes, the soap. This quick tutorial I will show you how to make a soap in Photoshop using Elliptical Marquee Tool and some of Layer Style. Lets started.

How to Make a Soap in Photoshop


Step 1
Open the new file by pressing Ctrl+N. Set its size 500x500 pixels.

Step 2
Create the background. Pick the Gradient Tool (G) from Toolbar. Set the foreground color is #ddded9. In the Property Panel, choose Foreground to Transparent option and click the Linear Gradient.
Double click the background layer in the Layers panel to open the Layer Style dialog. Apply a Gradient Overlay effect as shown below.




Step 3
Pick the Elliptical Marquee Tool (M) from Toolbar. Drag a oval marquee.  Set the foreground color is white color. Then select the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill the oval marquee. Pressing Ctrl+D to delete the oval selection.


Step 4
Duplicate the shape and double click the layer in Layers panel to open the Layer Style dialog box.
Apply a Drop Shadow effect as shown below.
Add a Inner Shadow effect as shown below.

Add Outer Glow effect as shown below..
Add a Bevel and Emboss effect as shown below..

This is the result as shown below.

Step 5
Now activate the Text Tool. We will add a text using the font Tahoma and use the following settings like image below.
Double click the text layer in the Layers panel to open the Layer Style dialog. Apply a Inner Shadow effect as shown below.

Add a Inner Glow effect as shown below.

Add a Bevel and Emboss effect as shown below..

I used the color #b8c091 for the Color Overlay.
Apply a Gradient Overlay effect as shown below.
This the result.


It is so simple, right?
